Romancia Workshop
As part of A Taste of Romancia, we are organizing two master workshops led by the esteemed artists, Romancia and Tenor Saprano. These workshops will provide aspiring vocalists with invaluable training, guidance, and mentorship to refine their skills and enhance their understanding of various genres of music. Participants will have the opportunity to develop their vocal abilities, expand their repertoire, and gain insights into interpretation and expression. Romancia Murray will speak to the opportunities and requirements for employment in the cruise ship industry.
The workshop curriculum will include
The workshops will focus on exploring diverse musical genres, including classical, operatic, and art songs, enabling participants to broaden their repertoire and embrace versatility as vocalists.
Through practical exercises and individual coaching, participants will delve into the art of interpretation, exploring ways to bring emotion, depth, and personal expression to their performances.
The workshops will also cover stage presence, connecting with audiences, and conveying messages effectively through vocal delivery, body language, and facial expressions.
Additionally, we have partnered with an agency led by Gabriella Gee that specializes in cruise ship employment. This collaboration will create exciting opportunities for participants who demonstrate exceptional talent during the workshops. The agency will recommend selected individuals for employment on cruise ships, offering them a chance to showcase their skills on a global stage and pursue international career opportunities.
